Last fortnight on Anthropocene

Hello my good friends,

Poets! How the hell have you been? How are ma and pa? (if they're still around). How are the kids? (if you’ve got kids?)

Today is an exciting day because these are the last three poets from my yes pile before I hand over to HLR for her autumn pile…Don’t worry Charlie Baylis fans (I know there are at least three of you out there!) I’ll be back picking poems when my ambition to sift through thousands of leaves of glass returns. Next window. See below for details of the poets and allies HLR has selected. Quite a lot of emphasis on the Nine Pens poets, shout out to Colin Bancroft. Top writer, awful football manager. Ha!

HLR and I are not dating anymore. I’ve got a lost of respect for her. HLR's got a lot of exciting things going on in her writing life, and she’s focusing on being as dramatic as possible. We're still friends though, and we had fun while we were together. My guess is she doesn’t want to be in a power couple any more - especially one with zero power. I predict her next boyfriend will be a random member of Coldplay. I like Chris Martin. And Gwyneth is, erm, good. I mean goop*. Me? I’m enjoying being single again. Hmmm. I have a feeling I shouldn’t have put that down in writing.

Ok get on with your Sunday, do something productive, raise hell, it's not like any of us are going to live forever, except the baby Jesus.
